|    horn relay question....    |
|    27 Nov 08 23:41:42    |
From: mfj1952deletethis@cox.net              On a 1993 toyota pickup, SR5, 4wd, ext cab...the horn is inop.       I have a copy of a maintenance manual page (from the net) that       shows the horn relay behind the L/H Kickpanel on the drivers       side of the cab. (The horn is inop, the fuse is good, and       all indications are from the diagram the logical culprit is       the relay). After removing the kickpanel, I still cannot       see exactly where that relay is mounted unless it is behind       the fuse/relay box. Can someone tell me if I am in the right       area to replace the relay? I see one screw at the bottom of       that fuse/relay box that might release it from the sidewall,       but want to make sure before I start a downhill slide taking       things apart I will be able to get parts reassembled again.              Any help would be appreciated from those who have already       crossed this bridge.              Mike in Kansas              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
