   (1993 Hi-lux Surf 3.0L SSR-X Limited)   
   The hood (UK: 'bonnet') on the vehicle has stiff hinges - so stiff that   
   they deform the bulkhead when it's opened. The fulcrum points seem to   
   be behind rubber gaskets, making them almost impossible to reach for   
   lubrication. Is there a technique for reaching them, or something   
   obvious that I've missed? Appreciate any thoughts.
