   If the cable is long enough there is a replacement made that just   
   replaces the end connector. You cut off the old one, strip the wire and   
   put it, along with any smaller wire(s), in the groove on the connector.   
   Tighten down the clamping bar provided and you are done. I always have   
   sprayed the connector and wire(s) with WD-40 to prevent corrosion. Here
