   Toyotas generally ARE great reliable cars, the problem with them is they are   
   generally underpowered and over priced as well.

   I have recommended Toyota's to dozens of people and not one complaint.   
   Also, I have been working on them since 1977, and found them to be   
   solid, reliable cars.   
   My latest is an 05 Highlander that I like alot.   
   YMMV, but I'll stick with what works.
