   That's the key issue on the commercial anti-theft devices. Cutting   
   through aircraft cable is very time consuming. A reciprocating saw   
   doesn't work, and cutting wheels like on a Dremel Tool require constant   
   replacement. It's not that it can't be done, it's that thieves will   
   probably look for an easier target.   
      
   The other idea I had was to buy a piece of surplus steel plate, put vent   
   holes in the necessary places, and bolt it to the cross members using   
   locking wheel bolt locks.   
      
   For now, the cable solution is in place.
