From: wolftracks@invalid.com              I pulled the ad for the 2004 Tundra truck weeks ago. (Posts above on       timing belt, etc.) I'll try in April again. This is no time to sell it       in a small town in the N. Calif. mountains. It's been interesting.              People from OR like to buy from here, since they have no tax on       vehicles. No smog check needed either. Interested people 60-100 miles       from here, get interested, but are often way-layed by other sellers in       sizable cities on their way here. The beat goes on anyway.              However a neighbor got his son-in-law interested recently. It ended up       in a no sale, possibly because the first four years of the truck's life       it was maintained solely by my son and friends, and well capable of       doing it. We are not talking about teenagers. No records to provide       though. My son left it with us for the last 3 years while he worked out       of the country. He plans to continue, and sold it to us, so we could       sell it. I've put 3K miles on it and only had one minor repair, which       was repaired quickly. So my question is how does one sell a vehicle       that has no maintenance record?              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
