   describes as 'Christian principles'.   
      
   Rupert Lowe's Political Journey and Background   
      
   Born on October 31, 1957, Rupert Lowe has a diverse professional and   
   political background. He previously served as the chairman of Southampton   
   Football Club from 1996 to 2006 and again from 2008 to 2009. His entry into   
   electoral politics saw him elected as a Member of the European Parliament   
   (MEP) for the West Midlands from 2019 to 2020, representing the Brexit Party,   
   which later became Reform UK. In July 2024, Lowe was elected as the MP for   
   Great Yarmouth under the Reform UK banner. However, his tenure with Reform UK   
   was short-lived; he was suspended from the party in March 2025 following   
   allegations of threatening behavior towards party chairman Zia Yusuf and   
   other bullying claims, which Lowe has denied. This led him to sit as an   
   independent MP, paving the way for the formation of Restore Britain.

   Restore Britain's platform is built on a series of hardline policies, with a

   Lowe has stated that 'every single illegal migrant will be detained and

   banning halal and kosher slaughter, outlawing the burqa, and making Sharia   
   courts illegal.

   intending to partner with locally based political groups across the United   
   Kingdom. This model allows the party to support various local initiatives while   
   maintaining a unified national identity. Lowe confirmed that he will contest   
   the Great Yarmouth constituency under the banner of Great Yarmouth First, a   
   local party he launched in December 2025, which is now formally aligned with   
   Restore Britain. The launch event itself took place at the Britannia Pier   
   Theatre, signaling the party's public debut. The party has been described as   
   right-wing or far-right, and reports indicate that Elon Musk has been a primary   
   backer of the movement.
