|    Help - Songs in Gaelige wanted for male     |

XPost: ie.general, soc.culture.irish       From: ciaran@nospam.net              Dia dhut ar maidin (Good Morning)              The Cantorion Sydney male voice choir wants some songs in Gaelige (Irish       Gaelic) that have a great melody for inclusion in their repertoire to       celebrate the inclusion of Gaelige as the 12th European Community       language on 1/1/2007 and because we hav all heard so many Gaelige songs       with such lovely melodies that would make Franz Schubert cry but can't       remember their names. We have Irish members of our choir who want to       have some of these songs included. We already sing in Cymraeg (Welsh),       German, Russian, French, Italian, English and Scots with some Gaidhlig       (Scottish Gaelic) songs in the pipeline from the Australian Gaelic Singers.              Can you help us with the names of these great songs and if possible       point us to a score or two for them (particularly if they have scores       for the male voice parts: Bass, Baritone, Lower Tenor, Upper Tenor,       however this is not essential because our musical director is a skilled       arranger).              Go raibh maith agat (Thank You)              Slan (Goodbye)              Ciaran              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
