   Samhain is when the Dagda meets the Morrigan at the River Unshin. It's   
   usually on the beginning of the Irish Month of Samhain which is roughly   
   around the modern month of November. If I were to look for stellar ways   
   to identify this month I'd look to the Pleiades and something happening   
   with a planet or another constellation on a horizon at sunrise or   
   sunset.
