From: loeizig@orange.fr              Hello              I am breton.       I am looking for the words or sounds used to call the cattle in Wales. I       thing there       are some words that are common in Breton and in cymraeg .       When I was a child, I was keeping the cows and to call them, the boys had a       word that is difficult to write. A noise with the lips . "Mpwrroah" or       "Prhoah" . Have you a similar in cymraeg ?. I remember having read a similar       word in a welsh dictionary. meaning "to call the cattle".       More of 1000 year later , may be some similar sounds are used with the       bretons of the two sides of the sea !       excuse me for my english !       Trugéré       Loeiz              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
