My reply:
Better for Alba to be completely independent within the EU. Citizens of
Eire and Norway have a much higher standard of living than Scots -
despite Alba having oil deposits like Norway and the same
entrepreneurial people with a wide diaspora like the Irish, they are
sucked dry by the English so that there is much higher unemployment and
lower standard of living than the English.
