The Isle of Man isn't even in the EU. In all seriousness what kind of
support is there in Devon and Cornwall for being independent? Outside of
these newsgroups that is:-) I would imagine that support for Welsh
independence wouldn't be as strong as support for independence in Scotland!
Remembering that people tend to dismiss polls which don't back them up I can
still imagine that the SNP will be a bit worried about the latest. Support
for independence has been growing again of late, but the latest poll sees it
falling back a tad, but more pointedly support for the union seemed to be
strongest among the youngest age group. This is a reversal of what used to
be the norm. Perhaps we're just seeing young voters who are way removed from
the Thatcher/Major years. Then again it may just be a blip poll and of
course a lot depends on what question is asked.

   cheers
