   Are you willing to go on record in condemning the Arabian Wahhabists (Saudi   
   state religion, TYVM), whose imams have for decades now been preaching that   
   the West and Israel are devils, and who have for just as long been funding   
   madrassas world-wide, including in Pakistan/Afghanistan and in SE Asia.

   This varies widely between populations; I agree in the main, though the term   
   'rank-and-file' methinks is better said as "average" or "ordinary."

   It's easy to spout that sort of stuff when one is not living where   
   cooperation with security forces gets one not only *not* well protected, but   
   in fact killed by insurgents.

   Yah, you and 'tchiowa' go forth with that 'you're either with us or against   
   us' crapola, which unfortunately is also what the fellows with AKs and bombs   
   'preach' up-close-and-personal, and if I can be certain of anything, it's   
   that neither of you will ever stand between the armed thugs and those they   
   intimidate into not taking a stand--well, unless fleeing can be defined as   
   such.   
   Go ahead--pretend that's not so.
