I've got McGeachin       ancestors from there too but can't get any further back with surity (sp?) than       a Hugh McGeachin born 1767. I can make assumptions that take me another two       generations back but        can find nothing from there. Definitely curious as to weather this covenanter       was an ancestor. At least I know from your post that he had at least one       child. Is there info you can give me that might help?              (I also have a distant Aussie relo arriving in Cumnock in two days for a week       of research, so any clues are particularly pertinent right now.)              Kind regards,       Brigit, Perth (via the Ballarat/Scarsdale McGeachins)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
