   The war for souls is raging,   
   and the world seems oblivious.   
   Christ gave the Scriptural Gospel   
   once again to the world   
   to end the deception   
   by the counterfeit church   
   and its counterfeit "gospel",   
   so that people could again be saved,   
   and to enable the Protestant Reformation.   
   But after centuries of onslaught   
   by the world led by the deceiver,   
   the Gospel has once again been driven   
   almost from the face of the earth,   
   and in its place once again is the counterfeit   
   "gospel" of "salvation" by surrender,   
   that saves no one at all   
   but makes people feel saved   
   so that they do not seek the real Gospel.   
   The Gospel is still here, in this remote and lowly   
   worldwide open forum of Christian newsgroups,   
   disregarded, mocked, and opposed,   
   by the world that seeks to destroy it here too.   
      
   But Christ has overcome the world,   
   and he imputes both   
   his righteousness and victory   
   to those who believe the Gospel   
   so that he regards those   
   as righteous and as overcoming the world too.   
      
   This is the Gospel that saves souls:   
      
   The moment Christ gives us faith to stop trusting our   
   "righteousness" and start trusting him to be our Righteous   
   Substitute so he regards his righteousness and victory ours,   
   we have eternal life.
