|    Narrow Versus Wide    |

From: roines@mindspring.com              Many go thru the wide gate where people       trust in their own so-called "righteousness"       in vain to save themselves: a billion Catholics,       a billion Protestants, and the other five billion       of the world.              But Christ causes a few to find the narrow gate       where Christ gives people faith to trust him       to be righteous for us for salvation,       so that they turn away from all trust in       their own "righteousness" for salvation.              That is the real Biblical Gospel that the world       has cast away twice, once after the Apostles,       and once after the Reformers; and that       the world is now disregarding and opposing       on Christian newsgroups.              Enter ye in at the strait gate:       for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,       that leadeth to destruction,       and many there be which go in thereat:       Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way,       which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.       (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV)              Christ showed the real Biblical Gospel to me,       same as to Paul and Luther,       because the world       had cast it away for the second time.       Christ caused that Gospel to be posted       on Christian newsgroups, and on my website       along with hundreds of Gospel articles:              Christ saves us by giving us faith to trust him       to be righteous for us forever for salvation.       (Romans 1:16-17, 3:22-23, 4:3-6, 5:17-19)              --       http://roines.home.mindspring.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
