Trusting churches for salvation       will never save anyone.              Trust for salvation must be on Christ.       Not on churches.              The Jewish churches opposed Christ.       The Catholic churches opposed       the real Biblical Gospel.       Today the Protestant churches       do not understand the real Gospel,       and most now have the false       "gospel" of surrender that       saves no one.              For anyone to be saved,       they must receive faith from Christ       to trust him to be righteous for us       forever in our stead for salvation.              Personal so-called "righteousness"       trusted in for salvation,       comes infinitely short of       the righteousness of God       required for salvation.              Almost all two billion       professing Christians are trusting       in their repenting, surrendering,       baptism, enduring, etc.,       rather than Christ to be righteous       for us forever for salvation.              When Christ comes for his people       at the Rapture,       only people trusting him to be       righteous for us will be taken:              Watch ye therefore,       and pray always,       that ye may be accounted worthy       to escape all these things       that shall come to pass,       and to stand before the Son of man.       (Luke 21:36 KJV)              Now then we are ambassadors for Christ,       as though God did beseech you by us:       we pray you in Christ's stead,       be ye reconciled to God.       For he hath made [imputed] him       to be sin for us,       who knew no sin;       THAT WE MIGHT BE MADE [IMPUTED]       THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.       (2 Corinthians 5:20-21)              --       http://roines.home.mindspring.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
