If you are xian, you have a pantheon, whether you ever understood that
or not. There are many gods in your pantheon, some major, most minor.
It is not for me to instruct you in these matters. But the information
is out there if you have the courage to find it. Thgat is not a
   requirement BTW.

   > "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a
   > son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the
   > Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. He was given authority,
   > glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every
   > language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that
   > will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be
   > destroyed." Daniel 7:13-14 NIV.

Daniel??? Written about -165GH, claimed to deal with the coming messiah,
who was not from the line of David. That Daniel?

Subtle hint, you are useing circular reasoning & that is no way to
access accurate information. Not to mentioon I am not a theist so quotes
from ypour grimorie are as meaningful to me a chants to Tane & Papa.
Well, the chants are more melodious but that's all.

   > Real education is in studying the Bible and the testimony of Jesus and
   > his apostles.

FGirst you need to ewstablish that a Jesus as claimed by xians existed,
historically he did not. Now there is a Jesuys of Galallie, but that is
   a definitely different person.
Then you need to establish that he is not simply another saviour claim
[the world has around 20, including one female, that died for the sins
of their people] which are commomn back in that era.
Then you need to establish that he is what is claimed, historically he
can't be for he was supposed to be a nmessiah [hint, the messiah as a
Jewish concept means a real time hero that delivers Israrel from some
temporal difficulty, say the Roman occupation], & that job was never
   asccomplished, for Israel remained subjugated.

   > If you understood the primary source material for true education, you
   > wouldn't be citing mythology. Jesus taught that we have the verdict of

Jesus who?? Exactly who is this Jesus & what non biblical evidence do
you have. As a concept, Jesus is pimped by many mythologies, yours
included. As a person, your Jresus was not even discussed during the
founding of your mythologyu, to include your founder Saul.

Side note, IIRC, Ignatius admitted that the claims for Jesus could have
been based on Appolonus of Tyre in one of his myrad writings. Might have
been one of his apologies, been a while since I've read it. Say 10-15
   years ago.

   > the final judgment now (John 3). Add to the Spirit's testimony the
   > pretrial verdict of 70AD and we have conclusive proof that many who
   > trust their own understanding are determined to resist salvation.

Not really, you have proof that gullability is not a virtue, just a
human trait. BTW, what pretrial event are you on about? & what
historical evidence do you have for it being what you claim.
If it is the claimed crucifixtion, I recommend yoiu study Roman law &
find out what crimes it could be invoked for. Even the Emporer couldn't
invoke iot for giggles & grins. There were only three crimes to my
knowledge that carried that sentence. Add to that, the body rotted on
the cross & was thrown in the village dump when it rotted away. Can you
figure out what kind of crimes would invoke a sentence like that?
Preaching love your fellow man was not one of them. Which accoding to
the xian grimorie was not the centeral message of the figmanet you call
   Jesus of Nazarath.

walksalone who wonders, is it required to have no knowledge of history
to be a xian, it would appear so according to the majority of the
   posters here.
