   The proper name in English is the Lord Jesus Christ. and in Hebrew it   
   would be pronounced "Yeshsua ha Masiahic" or Jesus the Massiah-the   
   annointed Saviour-GOD.   
      
   Jesus is a contraction of the title "the Lord our Righteousness" found in   
   Jer. 23:6 in Hebrew "Yaveh Tiskinu"-Y-e-s-u or Jesu for Jesus.
