   According to the Christian interpretation in the "NT", Jesus will   
   return and fulfill all the "kingly" Messianic prophecies. I guess the   
   reason why he didn't when he was here the first time is like when the   
   Israelites leaving Egypt didn't have faith God would save them and so   
   He refused them entry into the promised land.   
      
   Jesus uses the parable of the Wedding Feast, where the invited guests   
   didn't want to come (the Jews), so he invited others (the Gentiles.)   
      
   This doesn't mean the Jews are to burn in hell or are the "children of   
   the devil" or any other moronic interpretation of the Bible. It is   
   like Paul says:

   I ask, then: When the Jews stumbled, did they fall to their ruin? By   
   no means! Because they sinned, salvation has come to the Gentiles, to   
   make the Jews jealous of them.
