   But in those cases where it's warranted, it at least hopefully saves   
   us from having to give their asses free room and board in an expensive   
   prison-for-profit.  There's something to be said for that.   
      
   I'm personally somewhat ambivalent on capital punishment as an ideal,   
   but I think the potential benefit thereof does not lie in its   
   preventative value.
