[continued from previous message]              All life in this universe depends upon three factors – a nucleus, a resultant       interial force, and a congenial environment. A nucleus is required to control       the expression of energy in a living being. The displacement of an entity's       nucleus generally        results in the destruction of that entity. And as each action incurs an       opposite reaction, each expression of energy must be accompanied by an       opposite expression of energy (though it is incorrect to say that the opposite       expression is exactly equal).        Hence, each living being maintains an omnibelligerent pair of forces within       itself – one is extroversal and the other introversal. Life is possible only       when the balance of these extroversal and introversal forces is in favor of       the interial force – that        is, in favor of the force which leads toward the nucleus. Should the resultant       force be exterial rather than interial, then that entity must eventually       disintegrate. And, finally, in the absence of a congenial environment to       provide the requisite        physical and psychic pabula, no living being can long survive.              In a similar way as our solar system rotates around its physical nucleus, the       sun, so also the entire universe is circumrotarian around a spiritual nucleus       which controls not just the collectivity but also each and every unit being.       All the existential        phenomena are ultimately emanating from a single, supreme existential nucleus.       Each and every grain of dust, each and every blade of grass, each and every       plant, animal and human being – all are equally controlled by that Supreme       Nucleus which is both        the nucleus of this entire cosmos and the spiritual nucleus of each and every       one of us. Sometimes, due to the sense of small ego, or due to some false or       misleading instruction, human beings may fail to realize this point. They       mistakenly imagine that        their personal existence is somewhat independent from that Supreme Nucleus.       But the first stage of Neo-Humanism, Spirituality as a Cult, rectifies that       situation by providing human beings with a scientific explanation regarding       the nature of Divinity, as        well as an efficient means to achieve that most exalted state. The real goal       of individual existence is nothing other than to unite one's personal       existential nucleus with the cosmic existential nucleus. And, when that has       been accomplished, then one        experiences oneness with everyone and everything. At that time, one's entire       existence may be esteemed to be a perfect emanation from that controlling       nucleus of the cosmological order. One's voice becomes cosmic, and one's life       force pulsates throughout        the entire universe. Though maintaining a human form, one is not merely a       saint – one is, indeed, a god. This is the highest expression of Neo-Humanism       – the consummation of one's individual existence and the ultimate salvation of       the human society and        of the animal and plant kingdoms as well.              Today, as the result of a predominantly materialist outlook on life, human       beings have become more extroversal in nature – they have lost sight of       Ideology, and they have failed to cultivate devotion in their inner lives. In       the absence of devotion human        existence tends to lose its rhythm; the world seems to become dull and       monotonous. If today many people feel bored, if cynicism has become rampant in       most of the countries of the world, this condition is due to neglect of our       internal treasure. Neo-       Humanism will counteract this gloomy state by readjusting the priorities of       human life in favor of a resultant interial force, rather than the current       exterial one. This will take place because Neo-Humanism recognizes the       importance of the inner aspects        of life, and it nourishes and protects that most tender side of our existence.              Neo-Humanism will foster a more congenial environment for all living beings.       As mentioned before, Neo-Humanism demands that human beings maintain a       subjective approach along with their objective adjustment. In other words,       people have to advance psycho-       spiritually toward the Supreme Consciousness inspired by Neo-Humanistic       ideals; and, at the same time, they must strive for the dissemination and the       establishment of Neo-Humanistic principles, thereby enabling the formation of       a healthy social structure        founded on universalism.              From the moment one starts to practice a Neo-Humanistic Spiritual Cult, one's       lifestyle becomes more healthy in all respects. By regular and sincere       practice, one's liberation is guaranteed. But, along the way to the final       goal, we can recognize two more        very important emergent stages. One may liken the development of these       subsequent stages to the gradual unfoldment of a beautiful flower. In the       first stage of Neo-Humanism, spirituality is expressed as a cult. In the       second stage, that cult is elevated        into a devotional ideation. In the final stage, the devotional ideation is       transfigured into a mission of love. [437]              In the beginning, the practice of spiritual cult may occur only by rote. But       soon, as a consequence of sustained effort, the Neo-Humanist becomes aware       that, indeed, each and every particle of the universe is another form of       Consciousness. For the Neo-       Humanist, everything has equal existential value, because everything is       ultimately a divine manifestation. In the second stage of Neo-Humanism,       Spirituality in Essence, the Neo-Humanist has understood that in all       directions, within and without,        everywhere there is only one Supreme Being. This realization is of tremendous       value, but it is not the Desideratum of life, for still this realization       remains solely on the intellectual plane – still a sense of separation       persists. However, in the third        stage of Neo-Humanism, Spirituality as a Mission, the Neo-Humanist discovers       the affectionate game which the Supreme Being has been playing with her or       him. That game is called hide-and-seek, and it has been going on since time       immemorial. It will surely        continue for all time to come; but when real devotion awakens within the heart       of a spiritual aspirant, when s/he cannot bear the agony of separation any       longer, when s/he feels the intense urge to become one with the Beloved – so       much so that even one        minute seems too long for them to be apart – then and only then, for that most       fortunate individual, does the game come to an end. Complete union is       achieved. It is this awakening of pure devotion and the blissful mission which       that devotion inspires        that constitutes the third and final stage of Neo-Humanism.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
