[continued from previous message]              Today, a new leadership and a new philosophy are required to give fresh       direction to the manner of human thinking – so that the present snail's pace       of human progress may be greatly accelerated. Today, humanity requires a       well-thought-out and all-       embracing philosophy in which there are no loopholes or contradictions. And,       in order to implement that philosophy, or perhaps better to say, to implement       that Ideology, there must come forward some pioneering personalities of high       integrity and refined        intellect. Shrii Prabhat Rainjan Sarkar, the author-composer of Prabhat       Sam'giita and the propounder of Ananda Marga, PROUT and Neo-Humanism, is the       epitome of such a person.              [429] By this same process, human beings have trained animals to completely       contradict their inner nature, in furtherance of some fiendish functions       devised for them by human beings. Thus, we find some dogs trained in obedience       schools to kill humans on        a single command from their masters. But, ironically, the latest trick has       been to train wild animals who have become over-civilized to be animals once       again. In Malaysia and Indonesia, rehabilitation centers have been set up to       retrain the red-haired        orangutans, popularly known as the “wild men of Borneo”, in such basic       jungle-survival techniques as climbing trees and avoiding human beings.              [430] Only in the case of a blissful auxiliary will a Neo-Humanist render full       sympathy and support. Should it be found that a certain notion might be useful       in the future, after a proper cultivation of the concept, or under different       social or        environmental conditions, in that case the matter may be rejected only       temporarily, the final judgement being reserved for a later time. However,       where a logical analysis has concluded in the negative, and where it is clear       that opposition to such a        notion is the blissful auxiliary, in that eventuality the rejection is final.       Furthermore, a Neo-Humanist would feel obliged to take all necessary steps to       counteract such a concept or, better said, such a dogma.              [431] Dhyan is a Sam'skrta word signifying a pure meditation, in which the       mind moves in uninterrupted flow toward the spiritual Desideratum. It is       interesting to note that the Sam'skrta word “dhyan” became “c'han” in China,       “c'han” became “c'hen” in        Korea, and “c'hen” became “zen” in Japan. Similarly, the Sam'skrta word for       Spiritual Cult, i.e. “tantra” (meaning that science which liberates one from       all physical, mental and spiritual bondages) underwent a slight metamorphosis       from “tantra” in India        to “taota” in China some 7,000 years ago. Thereafter, the word “taota” was       further distorted to become “taoa” and, finally, in modern Chinese “tao”       (Taoism).              [432] An enlightened human being must be a universalist for the simple reason       that that Supreme Consciousness which s/he has realized is, indeed, permeating       each and every atom of this universe. Such a personality can never say, “I am       the only son (or        daughter) of God, whereas everyone else is ordinary”, because to such a person       everyone and everything is equally divine. For the same reason it is also       impossible to assert that such and such persons are the elect or chosen people       of God, whereas all        others have been directly or indirectly neglected (cursed) by that same God.              We must clearly understand that persons who thought or taught like this were       not guided by a true spirit of universalism nor had they themselves attained       the Supreme Goal of life. Such persons were not realized beings nor were they       even apostles or        prophets. Their empty words, used to conceal the inner blackness of their       characters, now expose them for what they were in fact. Until now those       charlatans have commanded respect from the people, mostly through imposition       of various fear complexes, but        their pseudo-spiritual teachings have spread only confusion among human beings       and have wreaked havoc upon this planet.              [433] Among those who have been spreading the confusion of dogma there are two       types of persons – those who do so deliberately and those who do so       unconsciously. In the latter category one may find many sincere individuals       who will recognize their        mistake and rectify their outlook and conduct. But some of those who have       harmed others unknowingly may refuse to accept that they were mistaken, even       after discovering their error(s), due to their egoistic tendencies. They fear       to lose face, not        realizing that their prestige is only enhanced by admitting to an honest       mistake. In that case, those persons enter the first category, joining the       ranks of the human chameleons, who maintain social position only by frequent       changes in the sentimental        strategy which they use to manipulate and exploit the simple people, changes       they make whenever their prior stratagem has been or is about to be detected       and exposed.              Those who adopt this metamorphosed sentimental strategy and/or metamorphosed       sentimental allegiance are not found just in the political spheres of life.       They exist in every walk of life – political, social, religious, economic,       cultural, and so on.        Generally they operate on the intellectual level and, though they often use       high-sounding language, in fact theirs is only a pseudo-humanistic strategy.       They are not at all eager to promote human welfare; rather, they look upon       people as nothing but        pawns in their selfish and destructive game. Though those human chameleons are       but a handful in number, they alone are chiefly responsible for the precarious       existence of the millions upon millions of homeless refugees whose immediate       problems must be a        matter of urgent concern for even the most hard-hearted people. But, while one       million human beings are dying of starvation every month, those human       chameleons, those demons in human form utilize the mass media at their       disposal to spread false and        alarmist propaganda about overpopulation, which ultimately has nothing at all       to do with solving the hunger problem. They seek also to divert the people's       attention by encouraging anxiety over the subject of nuclear weapons and their       deployment.        Fortunately the days of those human chameleons are numbered, for it is certain       that, when people become established in Neo-Humanism, they will easily       recognize the true nature of those demons and toss them, without remorse, into       the dustbin of history.              [434] All of the living beings of this universe are in motion in what may be       thought of as the stream of life. When a particular organism stands out from       the mainstream by doing something exceptional, such a being may be called a       genius. If the activity        be beneficial, then that being may be called blissful if in human form, good       if in animal form, or remarkable if in plant form. Conversely, if the activity       be harmful, then such a being may be termed demonic if in human form, bad if       in animal form, or        notorious if in plant form.                     [continued in next message]              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
