   Yes it is, Catherine.  I read your explanation.  I, myself, have elsewhere   
   pointed out that the offering to the Church should be given gladly...  not   
   grudingly.  And simply pointed out that the concept of tithing (giving a   
   10th to the priest/church/etc.) predates the Old Covenant, so to claim it is   
   part of the Old Covenant is not entirely accurate.   
      
   I've further pointed out how the Old woman is praised by Jesus for giving   
   all she had.  Giving from her need, not her excess.
