   You're getting ahead of yourself.   
      
   You speak of God as if there were only one. If you check the First   
   Commandment, you will notice that God herself implies that other gods   
   exist.   
      
   Then you are attempting to interpret large documents that resist easy   
   interpretation. Tackle something smaller first.   
      
   If you spend five years on "In", and eight years on "the", you can   
   justify spending fifteen years on "beginning" and you'll have barely   
   scratched the surface of the book of genesis, but you'll have done a   
   thorough job on the component parts of "in the beginning", and others   
   that come later will have you to thank, because they can then study "in   
   the beginning" as a gestalt, building on your work, and in another   
   century, perhaps someone will be ready to tackle the fourth word.
