How we named Mohammad   
      
   It happened years back that a certain descendent of Lot would frequent   
   our Yeshivot in Yerushalim.  He asked us if there was something he   
   could take to the other decedents of Lot to help them survive   
   inter-tribal wars with each other in the Fertile Crescent.   
      
   So our brightest scholars sat down and wrote the Koran for him and we   
   also gave him a name.  The name we gave him was Mohammed.  How did we   
   derive this name?  We looked for a meaning in this language and since   
   he was always eating more than everyone else we called him "Mo"   
   short for "More."  Even though we warned Mo about abstaining from   
   eating ham (pork) in the Koran, Mo continued to eat ham and when he   
   would eat the ham he would get mad.  So we decided to call him Mo -   
   ham - mad.  And we the Jewish people gave him the Koran so he would   
   stop eating ham and getting mad but it hasn't done much good because   
   today Muslims (those that follow the teachings of Mohammad) are still   
   getting mad and raising hell.
