XPost: alt.religion.christian.adventist, alt.religion.christian.boston-church,       alt.religion.christian.baptist       XPost: alt.religion.christian.biblestudy       From: EliyahuSilver613@hotmail.com              Bs'd                     On alt.messianic.yeshua the following is posted as a reaction on my       message of "JC was not the messiah":              Dear Reader       Shalom       The shocking facts are out       This is what your rabbis have hidden from you for nearly 2000.       http://www.messiahrevealed.org/category-index.html       Send this to all your Jewish Friends              These are the outrageous lies and mistranslations the Christians use       to lure unsuspecting victims into idolatry.              One example of a deceiving mistranslation is found in the very       beginning of that homepage. Under the heading: "The Pre-Existence of       the Messiah", it says there: "The Messiah would be from everlasting"       Micah 5:2c John 8:58.              Here Micha 5:2 is used to claim that the messiah is from everlasting.       Let's look at some translations of Micha 5:2:              Micah 5:2 :: New American Standard Bible: ""But as for you, Bethlehem       Ephrathah,        Too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will       go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long       ago, from the days of eternity."              Micah 5:2 :: King James Version: "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah,       though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee       shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose       goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting."              Micah 5:2 :: New King James Version: "But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,        Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of       you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, whose goings       forth are from of old, from everlasting."              Micah 5:2 :: American Standard Version: "But thou, Beth-lehem       Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of       thee shall one come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose       goings forth are from of old, from everlasting."              Micah 5:2 :: Darby Translation: " And thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, little       to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall he come forth       unto me [who is] to be Ruler in Israel: whose goings forth are from of       old, from the days of eternity."              A ruler who's origin is "from eternity".       Has to be God, doesn't he?       How else can he be from "eternity"?              The Hebrew words here translated with "days of eternity" are "jamee       olaam".              The selfsame Hebrew words "jamee olaam" are used two chapters further       on in Micha, in chapter 7:14.       And now see how those same translations translate that same phrase       there:              Micah 7:14 :: New American Standard Bible: "Shepherd Your people with       Your scepter, the flock of Your possession which dwells by itself in       the woodland, in the midst of a fruitful field. Let them feed in       Bashan and Gilead as in THE DAYS OF OLD"              Micah 7:14 :: King James Version: "let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,       as in the days of old."              Micah 7:14 :: New King James Version: " Let them feed in Bashan and       Gilead, as in days of old."              Micah 7:14 :: American Standard Version: "let them feed in Bashan and       Gilead, as in the days of old."              Micah 7:14 :: Darby Translation: "Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead,       as in the days of old."              And GONE are the "days of eternity", replaced by "days of old".       It has to be, because everybody understands that in "the days of       eternity" nothing was fed in Bashan and Gilead.       And so, by means of rotten and corrupted translations Christianity is       trying to deceive the people.              This deceit is a kind of covered up, if you cannot read Hebrew you       will not be able to see it.       But they are so bold & unashamed that they use clear lies to deceive       people into idolatry, only hoping that nobody is going to check it       out, as is unfortunately mostly the case.              The open clear-cut lies are on the home page of "messiah revealed",       brought to our attention by the poster who reacted on my message.              My comment on yet another page with 324 of those horrible lies can be       found here: http://www.geocities.com/Metzad/324lies.htm              And remember: It if was so clear that JC was the messiah, nobody would       start to post 300 lies in order to "prove" that he was the messiah.              Read my comment and weep….              Eliyahu              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
