When I hear some mouthy foreigner who now lives in this country
tearing it down and blabbing off about how much better things are in
his (perhaps meaningfully, it's usually a he) home country, I'm the
first one to turn around, demand to know why he is here if things at
home were soooo good, and to suggest that if this is the way he feels
he can always pack his bags and go back to the miserable hellhole that
he came from. And I can't stand the kind of jerks who come here to
live because they country is a shithole, and then have the gall to try
to tell us how fucked up we are, as they try to impose and *coerce*
their "better" ways upon us (obviously those ways, whether religious,
political, or moral must not be so shit hot if they ever in such a
rush to leave home back in Bumfuckistan.

But John, your wording is scaring me a little too. You didn't make it
totally clear in that last line, so when you say "Pakis" (otherwise a
fairly derogatory term these days), I'll trust and hope that you are
just referring to the fanatics, rouble-rousers, and cynical or
clueless manipulators who more or less fit the profiles I've outlined
above (and of course, the terrorists and their supporters). Because I
dearly hope that these are a minority, just as I hope that the great
majority of immigrants from Pakistan to the UK actually want and
strive to become productive and assimilated citizens in their new
country (just as I hope they do over here).

I have no time or patience for the former, just as I have all the
respect and time in the world for the latter, regardless of what their
   home country might actually be.

   Cheers,
