   The idea of an interstellar hybrid is ridiculous on the face of it, so I   
   guess they just picked one parent. Betazoids allegedly evolved from   
   spiderlike creatures? That really don't seem likely.   
      
   Why do we keep watching this franchise when it has so many dumb
