   **Verdict:** *The Survivors* is a classic   
    TNG slow-burn mystery: part ghost story,   
    part moral parable. It’s quiet and haunting,   
    with an ending that lingers long after

    condemn a god-like being driven   
    mad by grief? — is pure Trek. It’s not perfect,   
    but it’s powerful in its restraint.
