   At this point in Season 1, DS9 was still trying to find its identity. The   
   attempt to insert TNG’s whimsy (through Q) into DS9’s more grounded tone   
   feels awkward. The contrast is interesting, but the execution doesn’t quite

   **Verdict:**   
   “Q-Less” is a light, uneven entry that works best as a **pas

   presence is entertaining, and Sisko’s no-nonsense response to him is iconic,   
   but the rest of the story is    
   fairly shallow and quickly resolved.   
      
   Still, it’s worth watching for its historical value and the sheer novelty of   
   seeing Q in a new environment.
