   over the course of the show. (Her hairdos for instance.)   
      
   I'm not sure about the Original Series. I'm pretty sure Chekov was   
   added later, so that may be a "tell" there, if Walter Koenig isn't on   
   the bridge. ;)   
      
   It takes them a while to find a "groove" and to shake some things into   
   place, which is your general point. I would agree with that. No reason   
   they can't have good shows early on though.
