   Where'd you hear that?  The only story I ever heard along those   
   lines was about Michelle Forbes turning down the offer to play   
   former Ensign Ro Laren as the ranking Bajor officer on Deep Space   
   Nine.  And that when she declined, they rewrote the series bible so   
   as to have a new character, Kira Nerys, in that position.
