   No, that was all his (backlit zombies, anyone?)--   
      
   Although IMDb claims Carpenter said the "possessed by Martians" plot was   
   paying geek-homage to "Five Million Years to Earth"--   
   Which pretty well identifies it as Carpenter's, for those who appreciate   
   the TRUE reason why "Halloween III: Season of the Witch" was unfairly   
   misunderstood...  :(
