      Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Trek fan but in reality almost all of them   
   are grade B actors at best, and 24 tends to have the clout to attract bigger   
   names and better actors.  Only a few of the ones you mention have had any   
   work other than the sci-fi channel. Gotta be a reason?
