   Such a doctrine/teaching does exist, just ask your own fellow Christians if   
   they would agree with St. Paul in not taking part in the "Affairs of this   
   life" including the secular affairs of politics and listen to their   
   doctrine/teaching on the subject.   
      
   I think you will find that they will teach that it is fine for Christians to   
   partake in such political "affairs of this life" and to heartily vote for   
   one they see as a 'fit person' for either official or political office.   
      
   Then ask them if it's ok for Christians joining the police or military   
   establishments.....{;o;}
