From: BillShroyer@Pittsburgh.com              I'm seeking to stir things up a little. I'm just starting, of course,       so there aren't tons of things out there just yet, but I feel I have       something to say that needs to be heard. It's not a Christian       message, I am not a Christian - but at its heart, it's also not an       anti-Christian message. Some will certainly see it that way, but it's       not "about" Christianity to me, it's about religion in general and the       human spirit. We have been at the crossroads for the past       many-thousands of years, and today I think we can finally pick       ourselves up and set off down one path or another. The choice is       ours, and we may eventually split up and go two separate paths - two       or more separate species coming from what is today "modern man". Who       knows? But we can communicate more efficiently than ever before, and       I'm seeking to communicate about things which the modern world really       should be talking about, subjects they try to shuffle under the carpet       as if ignoring them will solve all problems.              So please check it out, if that sort of thing interests you. And even       if you don't agree with what you hear, if you like that style of       communication, I would ask you to please help spread the word and       become involved - pick yourself up a web-cam and begin the debate.       It's amazing what a difference seeing and listening to someone can       make, though for some, text-based forums like Usenet are most vital.       For that reason, I will endeavor to respond to anyone who posts       replies to my videos on Usenet. Just leave a notation in the comments       section of YouTube telling me where you've posted it (a message ID       would be ideal) and I'll gladly read what you have to say and respond       to it (by video by default, but in Usenet itself if you state that as       your preference).              If you think you're interested in joining in, here is where I'm       located on YouTube:              http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=DancesWithDeath              I will also be seeking ways to open up videos on YouTube - mine, at       least, but all videos if possible - to those who are blind, deaf or       both. I can sign my videos, but I don't presently have the right       equipment for that. When I get it, I will start doing so. I'd love       suggestions on how to open up these communications to various portions       of the disabled or "differently-abled" community, let me know what you       think.              Sincerely,       Bill Shroyer              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
