   Years back, when I lived in Toronto, I had season tickets for the Jays.  The   
   adjacent seats were held by an accountant from Chicago who actually had   
   season tickets for both the Cubs and Jays.  Cub fans say "Next year in   
   Chicago" the way Jews say "Next year in Jerusalem", but I always got the   
   feeling he'd feel robbed of his ritual if it ever happened.  Come to think   
   of it, not unlike the effect the coming of the Messiah would have on   
   Judaism.
