"Langballe" is funny both in Danish and Norwegian. In Danish, at least
as pronounced, it means "Longbuttock"; in Norwegian, "Longbollock". But I
suppose the name originally had no pejorative meaning. Then slang-language
   changed.
I don't find "Messerschmidt" weird. It just means "Knifesmith" in
   German.
