   I first came across LWW at the age of 8 or 9 when it was read to us, a   
   chapter at a time, in school. I must say the story didn't make much sense   
   at the time - it's only when I read it for myself as an adult that I could   
   see how everything hung together.   
      
   Certainly "The Magician's Nephew" seems to be aimed at younger readers than   
   the rest of the series.
