   Just to nit-pick ...   
      
   I actually learned how to kill-file a subject before I learned how to   
   kill-file a poster. This was under my old Netscape Messenger 4.73,   
   where the former was easy (selectable by right-clicking the subject,   
   IIRC), while it took a while before I found the 'Ignore Author' menu   
   point.   
      
   This, obviously, doesn't change that killfiling some/one/ works   
   specifically on the author and leaves the subject free.
