Speaking of which, Aslan appears on the brink of our world at the end of
'The Silver Chair', where he turns his back on our world and lies down
in the gap in the wall, facing into his world (when Jill and Eustace
return to the school to confront the bullies).

Would Lewis have taken care not to have Aslan enter our world, as that
might have theological implications? Even though some of the bullies and
(I think) some of the teachers reported seeing a lion?

If Aslan IS Christ (the whole subject matter of this subthread), does it
matter (theologically) that he appears in our world, and is seen by
people in our world as a lion, and not as Jesus?
