XPost: alt.bible       From: usenet@christrose.news               "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your        father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does        not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When        he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar        and the father of lies." (John 8:44, ESV)               "The field is the world, and the good seed is the sons of the        kingdom. The weeds are the sons of the evil one." (Matthew        13:38, ESV)               "and said, 'You son of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness,        full of all deceit and villainy, will you not stop making        crooked the straight paths of the Lord?'" (Acts 13:10, ESV)               “Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the        devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of        God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.” (1 John        3:8, ESV)               “By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are        the children of the devil: whoever does not practice        righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love        his brother.” (1 John 3:10, ESV)              God does in fact cast into the lake of fire, those who are "cursed".       These are NOT His children, but the children of the devil:               ““Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you        cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his        angels.” (Matthew 25:41, ESV)              --       Have you heard the good news Christ died for our sins (†), and God       raised Him from the dead?              That Christ died for our sins shows we're sinners who deserve the death       penalty. That God raised Him from the dead shows Christ's death       satisfied God's righteous demands against our sin (Romans 3:25; 1 John       2:1-2). This means God can now remain just, while forgiving you of your       sins, and saving you from eternal damnation.              On the basis of Christ's death and resurrection for our sins, call on       the name of the Lord to save you: "For 'everyone who calls on the name       of the Lord will be saved'" (Romans 10:13, ESV).              https://christrose.news/salvation              To automatically receive daily Bible teaching updates with colorful       images and website formatting, subscribe to my feed in a client like       Thunderbird:              https://www.christrose.news/feeds/posts/default              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
