Last year, we saw some really sad stuff.. like adults dressed up knocking at
your door - what can you do.. these weren't the employed people in town, ya
know.. felt bad for them, really so I gave them a bit extra . Worst
thing I remember though last year was the cars from villages near-by dropping
off car-loads of kids - well, you didn't see that this year either, and I'm
not sure why.. maybe the flooding we've just recently had? I'd like to think
that's not the reason.. People are still dealing with Fema and all that in
nearby Binghamton, Owego and other villages.. :(
