Sorry - with all the development I am doing over here, this one looks like it
never flagged for me to read. In short, Rhenium is a constantly evolving mailer
 - was terminal/script based - now it's next generation is desktop GUI for Mac,
 Windows and Linux Gnome. It's all 100% original code for the communication
protocols (e.g. not a Argus hack). The challenge is Rhenium is GUI, expects to
support embedded images, colors, etc. and most FTN systems appear to have
issues with that... which is one more reason why I blew off the QBBS source I
bought in 1990 something (v2.8.0 g1)... For the past year, I have been
reviewing every features RA, SuperBBS, PowerBBS, QBBS 2.9 (Ben's code)
supported .. and merging support into ExchangeBBS v3.0 (e.g. QBBS/3).
 
It's not ready for public consumption - however, it is finally getting to the
point where I will be building web pages (trying to decide Wiki or Blog) to
unveil screenshots, features, etc. My challenge is to try to keep to Adam's
design of "Quick and Easy" to install and run... so this round the EXCONFIG.EXE
 supports MODE (Beginner, Novice, Advanced) - Beginner screens are simply Who
Are You? BBS Name? Comport or Auto-Detect, etc. The goal is to make it simple
enough to follow the QuickStart steps and Beginner mode is onlin in like 2
minutes. e.g. a ton of "assumptions" in that mode. But, by the time they get to
 running the Advanced settings - they can control all kinds of granular
stuff... Shooting for a *MAYBE 2019* release date.
