It has been a long time since I last configured the FidoNet software on Linux.
Just as a suggestion: could you please check all inbound directories of binkd,
including insecure one.

As another approach it may also make sense to set most detailed log level in
hpt
and toss AfterShock bundles/packets starting hpt manually. With prior checking
that files from AfterShock are in correct location. With following hpt logs
inspection.
