When I'm replying to a message and try to delete the first quoted paragraph
(by marking it with a long press) the app freezes, then the reply is closed
and lost (the app remains). However I can remove any of the other quoted text
below.

This happens if you don't have entered anything in Settings -> Reply header
(that by default is empty)

If I enter something, like "Hi %fromfirst,", I no longer have this issue -- I
can safely remove anything below the greeting.

I have checked it on 3 different devices and Android versions (with AfterShock
1.6.7, 1.6.8 and 1.6.9)

 TV> At the moment I'm able to work on short tasks only.

If it's difficult to fix, I suggest that by default, that field contains
something, e.g. "%fromfirst,"
