Not always.  But for political stuff, that's the way it normally goes.

The world has had a problem for a long time with people who want to believe
that they should be in control of everything/everyone because they are soooo
much better/smarter/etc. than us plebes.

Now, every time they have gotten power, they have royally screwed up things for
everyone - except themselves.  Venesuela is a good example.  The U.S.S.R.  was
another.  We want to call these "socialist" countries, but socialism always
devolves into dictatorship.  And history has shown us that these societies (one
way or another) kill most of their citizens and collapse under their own
weight.

Now, getting back to today, we see through DOGE and other exposure of gov't
"waste" that this "waste and incompetence" wasn't really waste and
incompetence.  It was a purposeful plan to funnel tax dollars into someone's
pocket and really had nothing to do with the stated purpose of the plan.

The root of all this are the Elitists.  People who can't create.  They can't
perform.  But they deeply believe that if they were in control, everything will
be wonderful.  Did I mention that they ignore Reality and history?

For decades, they have been eroding our rights, stealing our tax dollars,
destroying our trusted institutions, etc.  At the start, it's hard to call them
out because "what was done was so small", but it's like the frog in the pot. 
He doesn't notice the temp going up because each increment is too small to
feel, so he lets himself be cooked to death.

The first Trump presidency, the Biden joke of a presidency, and the COVID
scamdemic made them move faster (i.e. turn the heat up a little too fast) and
we felt it.  That helped move the curtains aside and let us see what was going
on.
