You know it's bad when the most intelligent person in your party is literally
brain damaged.

I find this to be a problem with that generation, in general.  They grew up
with a news source that was actually trustworthy (as far as we know).  So they
are trained to trust the media and had no alternate way to verify things (other
than other media).

Today, we can check several, independent news sources with the click of a
mouse.  We even have some companies offering us the ability to see how right or
left leaning a news story is.
