The models and the results of those models are such that humans can no longer check an AI learning. Then another part is that the person doing the "checking" is biased. But that is a human issue, not an AI issue. IJ> @RonL, there has to be a move away from where we are. Parent IJ> involvement and there has to be an alternative. We have to take our schools back. Many moons ago here in Michigan, schools were mostly funded through millages. So every few years, the schools had to kow tow to the parents to get them to vote for more funding. I remember in my area, the schools basically said "we don't care what the parents want, and you'll vote for the millage or else." Well, the parents called their bluff, voted the millage down, and the schools had to deal with it. But then they came up with a new plan: The Shift and Shaft. They shifted school funding from millages to sales tax, shafting those people who have no children and live in small homes/apartments. Now the schools no longer have to listen to the parents at all. The parents don't have any leverage since we all have to pay the "school" tax all the time. Eliminate the teacher's union. Fund the schools directly from the community again. Allow state money to follow the child to any school (public or private). Think everything that the public schools hate and that's what we need. IJ> I think of moving things from the Feds to the State is a "First" step. IJ> But moving away from these Liberal Creeps who want to indoctrinate our IJ> kids is an other huge step. Yes. It makes it much harder for the Elitists to push their Woke agenda. It also makes it easier for communities to take back their schools. We also need to factor another thing in here: The birth rate crash. We just closed an elementary schools near me because of low enrollment due to no kids of that age. The school problem may fix itself with the drop in kids. It's hard to demand more money when you have fewer kids to teach. ...
